Ken Bensinger
Ken Bensinger is a politics reporter for the New York Times, covering right-wing media. He has worked at the Wall Street Journal, SmartMoney Magazine and The Los Angeles Times, covering the art market, banking, real estate and the auto industry, among other topics. Most recently, he was a member of the investigations team at BuzzFeed News, where he shared a National Magazine Award in 2016 for coverage of the H-2 work visa system. Mr. Bensinger has won two Loeb Awards and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in national reporting in 2010. He lived in Mexico City for four years, freelancing for a variety of publications, and is fluent in Spanish.
His 2018 book Red Card: How the U.S. Blew The Whistle On The World’s Biggest Sports Scandal is published by Profile Books. It was the winner of the Telegraph Sports Award Football Book of the Year 2019 and longlisted for the Best Sports Book of the 21st Century at the Sports Book Awards.
