Clare Reader Collins is a novelist and award winning screenwriter. Her first screenplay, Plague Of Red, won the Grand Prize for the StoryPros International Screenplay Competition; her second screenplay was a Semi-Finalist at the LA Screenplay Awards.

Her debut novel, Tales Of Starcross was longlisted for the Cheshire Novel Prize and the Blue Pencil Agency Pitch Prize, and shortlisted for the Grindstone Literary International Novel Prize. Tales Of Starcross will be published in spring 2026.

She lives in a beautiful Devon valley, a stone's throw from the real life locations in the South-West of England that inspire her writing.
