At Lutyens & Rubinstein, we are dedicated to ensuring our authors’ books travel far and wide. From bestselling crime novels to award-winning cookbooks and literary fiction, our clients’ books can be found in every corner of the globe. We take a flexible, highly collaborative approach to selling books in translation and our rights department works closely with the primary agents to develop tailored strategies for each project to maximise international visibility. We attend the major book fairs and conduct targeted sales trips in order to consolidate existing relationships and forge new ones. We work closely with international co-agents in Europe, Asia and the US as detailed below, and deal directly in The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Scandinavia.

We love talking about what we’re watching almost as much as exchanging thoughts on books, and we are committed to securing opportunities for our authors on screen and stage. We have excellent relationships with film, TV and theatre agents and scouts, and our titles have been optioned by some of the best creative minds in the business and performed to audiences around the world.
