Elisabeth Gifford is the author of five novels, including Secrets of the Sea House, which was shortlisted for the Historical Writers’ Association’s Debut Crown and was a Waterstones Scotland Book of the Month, and The Lost Lights of St Kilda, shortlisted for the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Historical Romantic Novel Award. She has an MA in creative writing and is currently working on a novel based on the sinister effect that J.M Barrie had on the life of Daphne du Maurier and on the lives of her five boy cousins whom he adopted and took as his inspiration for Peter Pan. She lives in Kingston upon Thames.
