Born in London, Emma Forrest began her writing career as a teenage columnist on a national newspaper. She is the author of four novels and two memoirs; Your Voice in my Head and most recently Busy Being Free which was longlisted for the Gordon Burn Prize. She also edited the anthology Damage Control. Emma wrote and directed her first feature Untogether, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
