Kate Muir is a women’s health expert, writer and documentary maker. Her latest book is How to Have a Magnificent Midlife Crisis, and she is also the author Everything You Need to Know About the Menopause and Everything You Need to Know About the Pill, an investigation into contraception.

She produced two ground-breaking Channel 4 documentaries on the menopause, presented by Davina McCall, which ignited a massive conversation among women in the UK. Kate is an expert menopause speaker and campaigner, and a founder member of The Menopause Charity. Previously, she was chief film critic of The Times. She has written five non-fiction books and three novels.

Her upcoming book is Can I Avoid Alzheimer’s? which will be published in 2027.
