Sarah Larkham Hall
Sarah Larkham Hall is a professional singer-songwriter and vocal tutor living on a houseboat in Bristol, beneath the famous multi-coloured houses. As well as life on the stage, she works in mental health and rehabilitation, using music and positivity to heal, soothe, and inspire.
As a child, she spent her days inventing spooky stories with her brother, roaming local cemeteries on ghost hunts and daring each other to believe in the impossible. Convinced they possessed secret magical powers, the siblings did their best to nurture them - an imagination that never left her.
Sarah began writing for children and young adults out of a passion to reignite this sense of magic, self-belief, and limitless possibilities in a demanding modern world.
When not surrounded by water, guitars, books, and records, she can be found travelling across Europe in a vintage campervan with her musician husband. She is inspired by the paranormal, coming-of-age novels, and 1980s movies. She has four grown-up children and has worked with many young vocal students, who inspire her to keep believing.
